All packages include images from your photo session on a CD, or downloadable in digital format. All editing and retouching of all photos is included in any package, and you will get a stunning variety of beautiful photos, both in color and black and white.

I also know of a ton of great spots on the Island that make an incredible backdrop. I do my best to always be as flexible and accommodating as possible, and will always work to reschedule in the event of uncooperative weather.

Below are some FAQ’s to help you get started.




My info sheet that I send you once you contact me about a possible shoot answers many questions, but here are some of the questions I get asked most frequently by my clients:


How long are the sessions?

All photo sessions are about one hour. If you have very young children and think they will not last through an hour shoot, don’t worry. I can capture a ton of great shots in less time, if needed.

If you think you need more than an hour, that’s no problem as well. I have a rate for additional time. If you’d like something custom, just let me know. I’m happy to work with your needs!


I’ve never had a professional portrait photo session before. What can I expect?

You can expect that we are going to take some great photos! I like to make every photo shoot super comfortable and fun for anyone and everyone involved, whether you’re an indiviual, couple, or family. I am always open to all of your suggestions, and love to coloborate on any creative ideas you may have, but I am also good at giving direction, and guiding you throughout the whole shoot with what to do to capture some terrific photos.


What do I wear?

My info sheet gives you recommendations based on the type of shoot you want. But a rule of thumb I go by, is to wear whatever you feel comfortable and good in! For more than one person in our photo session, it is good to have the outfits compliment each other. They do not need to be matchy-matchy, but it is good if the colors don’t clash too much, and it is good to avoid several different busy-patterns together.


Will I have time to change outfits?

For standard shoots, you will have time for an outfit change, or even two changes, if you’d like. For family shoots, it’s usually recommended to do just one outfit, to make sure we have time for all the photos we need. But if you’d like to do more than one, that’s fine too.

For boudoir photo sessions, we can do three outfits. If you are unsure of what will photograph best for a boudoir photo session, bring more outfits, and I will help you choose what will work best for our shoot.


Where do the photo sessions take place?

I can do your photo shoot anywhere you’d like. I can come to you, whether it be your home, a nearby park, Waikiki, a resort elsewhere on island, a rental property, or anywhere. The majority of my photo sessions (maternity, engagement, surprise proposal, family, children, headshots, portfolio photos, beach boudoir photos, etc.), are all at outdoor locations. I know Oahu very well, and can suggest some lovely locations all over the island that will ensure some beautiful outdoor photos on Oahu. Just let me know if you’d like me to suggest a beautiful spot for your Oahu photos.


Do you have a studio?

I do have a photo studio in Waikiki, but that is reserved mostly for boudoir photos, intimate maternity boudoir photos, or newborn photos. As I am a natural light photographer, I always recommend that any other type of photo shoot be done outdoors, to take advantage of the gorgeous natural backdrops of Hawaii.


What is the cost and what is included?

I have many packages I offer, and lots of options. I will send you my pricing sheet & info sheet once you contact me and tell me what kind of shoot you are looking for. Session fees start at $250 and include ALL post-process work (editing & retouching). Package prices include photos in digital format… either some or ALL photos from your shoot delivered to you via a thumb drive, or immediately via DropBox.


Do you offer prints, photo books or canvases, & other photo products?

Yes! Any session, no matter the package, includes photos in a gallery online, which also enables you to order prints, cards, wall art, etc.

I also create stunning custom-made photo books of extremely high quality. These are beautiful, flush-mount, layflat albums with tons of options, like linen & leather covers, and inscriptions of your choice.


How long does it take to get my photos after our photo session?

My turn around time is quite quick. I work hard to get your photos to you within 1-2 weeks. And these are all FULLY edited/retouched photos, and a combination of color & black & white.


Where do I see my photos?

You will have your very own password-protected, online photo gallery that is watermarked, where you can view your photos immediately. Depending on the photo package you purchased, you will receive your non-watermarked, high resolution photos delivered to you shortly after that.


I see lots of photos online in your portfolio, and on platforms like Yelp, FaceBook & Instagram. Will my photos show up there?

I own the copyright to all my photographs and reserve the rights to use them for marketing purposes online and on my business cards, etc. Most people are proud to have their lovely photos displayed. However, if you wish to not have your images published, please let me know, and I will be happy to respect your rights to privacy.


How do I book a shoot?

Contact me! Use the contact page on this website or call me directly. I will email you the pricing & info sheets, and together we will figure out availability. And I’m always very happy to answer any and all questions you may have! There is never a wrong question!


What is required to book a shoot?

Together, we will select a date, time & place that works for you, based also on my availability. Once that is confirmed, I require a deposit to secure that date & time. That is the session fee, and is of course included in your package price. So then, only the balance or remainder of the package cost will be due at the photo session. There are no additional fees or taxes.
