ROMATIC ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS IN OAHU BOTANICAL GARDEN

Whenever I get a call or email for an engagement photo session, I always recommend some incredibly romantic photo locations that I know of on Oahu. These cuties, who happen to be great friends of mine, wanted to do engagement photos and ‘Thank you’ card photos in the same photo session. We headed to a beautiful little botanical garden in Kaneohe and captured their love amidst the lush greenery with an awesome Oahu mountain backdrop. The little gazebo and koi pond made for some great backdrops too. 

I didn’t have to give them much direction, because they were super affectionate on their own (which makes for natural and genuine couple’s photos), but I did give them some suggestions, like running towards the camera! I love shots like that, because they are not posed, but rather playful and fun, and movement in photos can break up the monotony of more poised shots. They were so beautiful though, there was no way I could take anything but great photos of these two!
