SUPER FUN SMASH CAKE PHOTOS!!

First Birthday and Smash Cake Photos make for some awesome One Year Portraits!! Normally, when I get ready to do a First Birthday Photo Session or Smash Cake Photos specifically, I never know what to expect. Sometimes, the one year old is very hesitant to eat the cake. Sometimes, they don’t even want to touch it, because they find the icing texture to be smushy and icky. I’ve had sessions where the parents have had to not only ‘guide’ the cake into their kid’s mouth, but push it in, hoping that they’ll like the sweet taste. Some do, and some, surprisingly, don’t! (What planet are those kids from?!?!? Lol)

The Smash Cake Photo Session with this little guy though, was one of the best ever! He ACTUALLY smashed the cake! And the icing went everywhere! He even managed to ice his Mom, who was such a great sport, laughed through it all, and enjoyed every second of her son’s First Birthday Photoshoot. And as for Valentino, I think he’s hooked on cake for life!
